Heidi has offered the following idea: I would like to share an easy idea for a more alkaline diet. I was having trouble getting fresh organic produce, but was able to find all kinds of frozen organic vegetables. I came up with this solution: I let the frozen vegetables thaw and blend them with a large amount of parsley, raw onions and peppers. This results in a beautiful green puree which I then freeze in ice cube trays. I add them to soups, salad dressings, scrambled eggs etc. Or just heat it gently for a tasty vegetable soup to which you can add potatoes, carrots, squash or eat just by itself. Of course you can do this with fresh uncooked vegetables as well. Thank you Heidi :o) |
